This policy explains what personal data Glaser Real Estate collects when you visit marbellaapartmentforsale.com or contact us, what we do with it, and what rights you have in relation to it. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain's Ley Orgánica 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we collect

We collect personal data only in two situations:

  1. When you contact us — through the contact form or by emailing, calling or messaging us. Typical fields: name, email, phone (optional), the town and budget you're considering, and any free-text message you send.
  2. When you browse the site — if you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymous usage data (pages visited, approximate location from IP, browser type, time on page) via Google Analytics 4. No analytics cookies are set unless you accept them in the cookie banner.

3. Lawful basis

  • Contact-form and enquiry data — processed under "performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures" (GDPR Art. 6.1.b) and your consent (Art. 6.1.a).
  • Analytics data — processed only on the basis of your consent (Art. 6.1.a), given via the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Legal obligations — anti-money-laundering checks and tax reporting at the transaction stage are processed under "compliance with a legal obligation" (Art. 6.1.c).

4. Why we use it

  • Reply to your enquiry and arrange a discovery call or property viewing
  • Coordinate any subsequent buying or investment process you engage us for
  • Comply with our legal obligations (AML checks at the offer stage, tax reporting where applicable)
  • Improve the website (anonymous analytics only, with consent)

We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Who receives it (processors)

Your data is shared only with the following processors, all bound by data-processing agreements:

  • Formspree (US) — receives and delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox. It processes the form data you submit purely to relay it to us. Privacy policy
  • Google Analytics 4 (US/EU) — anonymous site analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies. Privacy policy
  • Vercel (US/EU) — website hosting. Privacy policy

Where processors are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA), transfers are made under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, providing equivalent data-protection safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

  • Active enquiry data: kept for the duration of our communication and up to 12 months after the last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Client transaction data: kept for 6 years after the transaction closes, as required by Spanish tax and AML legislation.
  • Analytics data: up to 14 months (our Google Analytics retention setting), then automatically deleted.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR and the Spanish LOPDGDD, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@glaserrealestate.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data-protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD): www.aepd.es.

8. Security

We protect your data with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk: HTTPS encryption in transit, restricted access to enquiry inboxes, password-managed processor accounts, and minimal data retention. We do not store payment-card information.
