This apartment in Costa del Sol is on our shortlist for the same reasons most of our recommendations are — the building checks out, the asking price is honest for what you get, and we'd happily send a friend to view it.
The Golden Mile runs along the coast from the bullring west toward Puerto Banús — a tightly held strip of established beachfront blocks, hotels and restaurants where supply has been effectively fixed for decades by zoning. Sierra Blanca rises behind it, a gated cluster of villas with substantial security, but for apartment buyers the conversation is overwhelmingly about the coastal strip. Beachfront stock here is some of the most defensively priced on the Costa del Sol: walls and frontage are protected, new builds are rare, and resales tend to clear quickly. Penthouses with direct sea aspect are the headline product, with smaller two-beds in pool complexes one street back forming the realistic entry point.
Supply on the strip is finite and getting tighter — well-priced beachfront apartments rarely linger. The premium is real, but so is the resilience.
- Zoning protects beachfront walkability — supply is structurally fixed
- Established address with twelve-month restaurant and hotel infrastructure
- Beachfront resales clear faster than most of the wider coast
- Sierra Blanca offers a separate, ultra-prime backdrop for villa buyers
